About The Position

The Associate Director of Design and Digital Marketing at Evolent Health is responsible for leading the creative and design functions, as well as managing digital marketing platforms and campaigns. This role focuses on enhancing brand strategy, audience engagement, and delivering high-quality design work across various media. The ideal candidate will be an innovative graphic designer with a strong understanding of digital marketing, capable of leveraging insights to improve performance and engagement.

Requirements

  • Degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in the field, experience in the health care industry a plus
  • Strong portfolio of digital and print work
  • Passion for brand strategy, innovative design, and user experience
  • Strong design principles and values while collaborating with internal partners and absorbing feedback
  • Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines
  • Self-starter that takes projects head on from inception to delivery
  • Skilled in project management with the ability to accomplish a high volume of requests from concept to completion
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with Drupal, HTML, and CSS is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimize campaigns, and make data-driven decisions
  • Experience with CRM/marketing automation tools like Salesforce and Pardot is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality work from concept to production, including brochures, research reports, event branding, social media campaigns, ads, infographics, website graphics, and promotional items.
  • Serve as the brand expert and steward of brand values and standards.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (PPC, SEO, email marketing, social media, content marketing) to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to develop engaging, relevant, and high-converting content for social media and other platforms.
  • Coordinate with external design freelancers and creative service vendors, providing art and design direction to ensure high-quality, on-brand results.
  • Maintain an internal brand resource hub for company employees, including brand guidelines and corporate templates.
  • Oversee SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
  • Manage front-end website edits and optimizations for evolent.com.
  • Design and execute social media strategies on LinkedIn to increase engagement and grow followers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Implement A/B testing, user experience improvements, and optimization strategies to enhance website and email performance.
  • Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and improve digital marketing efforts.
