About The Position

AstraZeneca is seeking an Associate Director to join the Data Management & Operations team within Strategic Field Operations. This role is crucial for aligning data management capabilities with business strategy, focusing on data delivery, access, and ownership of the AZ Brand Analytics Platform. The position emphasizes the importance of data as a competitive asset for commercial decision-making, ensuring data quality, process efficiency, and overall governance across US Commercial functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, data management, and/or data analytics.
• Experience in Data Management, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and/or Analytics environment.
• Experience across product life cycle (emerging, launch, in-line, mature).

Nice To Haves

• Extensive experience managing programs and projects in Life Sciences.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with key collaborators across various teams.
• Strong competence in Data Management, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Data Analytics, and Customer Data Management processes.
• Demonstrated program management experience in Life Sciences, driving multiple simultaneous programs.
• Ability to influence laterally and vertically.
• Experience in developing Data, Data Products, Engineering roadmap and capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health).

Responsibilities

• Align data management capabilities with business strategy.
• Serve as a liaison between Business, Functional Areas, and Technology for data-related business requirements.
• Manage programs and projects in Life Sciences focusing on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Establish business-first processes and engagement for program management and data management capabilities.
• Manage, measure, communicate, and socialize Key Performance Indicators.
