About The Position
AstraZeneca is seeking a dynamic Associate Director to join the Data Management & Operations team within Strategic Field Operations (SFO). This individual will play a pivotal role in aligning our data management capabilities with the business strategy, emphasizing the strategic importance of data as a competitive asset crucial for enabling Commercial decision-making. The primary focus will be on Master Data Management (Commercial US), encompassing Health Care Master (HCP, HCA, and Affiliations), Patient/Consumer Master (data for MCRM, Digital), and Product Master (Industry products including AZ products), CRM DCR Process, Data access, use, and effectiveness, data quality and process efficiency, budget and procurement, and overall data governance across the US Commercial functions. The Associate Director will bring a solid foundation of data management and business knowledge related to Pharmaceutical Sales & Marketing. They will serve as a liaison between Business, Functional Areas, and Technology to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and considered as part of operational effectiveness. The role involves managing programs and projects in Life Sciences, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. Establishing business-first processes, cadence, and engagement for program management and data management capabilities will be key responsibilities, along with managing, measuring, communicating, and socializing Key Performance Indicators.
