When we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines. In-person working gives us the platform to connect, work at pace and challenge perceptions. That’s why we work, on average, a minimum of three days per week from the office. But that doesn’t mean we’re not flexible. We balance the expectation of being in the office while respecting individual flexibility. Join us in our unique and ambitious world. The Role: As Associate Director, Country Operations Management (AD COM), you will report to the Head of Country Operations and play a central role in implementing the country strategy. You will serve as a culture and values ambassador and act as the line manager for designated local functions, as agreed with the Head of Country Operations. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of all assigned operational trial activities across programs—whether managed directly by you or by your team—ensuring timelines, operational procedures, quality standards, SOPs, and guidelines are consistently met. In this role, you will lead the day‑to-day management of one or more dedicated functional groups within the local Country Operations Management team. You will oversee planning and resource utilization, set objectives, drive performance development, and ensure your direct reports meet study expectations. You may also contribute to regional and global initiatives as delegated. In some countries, the AD COM may take on additional responsibilities—such as Project Manager, Country Operations (PMCO)—as needed and agreed with the Head of Country Operations.
