Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for an Associate Director & Counsel for Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engines!! This business includes both the GTF and the mature engine platforms, including engines for the V2500, PW4000, PW2000, GP7000, JT8D, and Pratt & Whitney Power Systems model engine programs. What You Will Do: This is a customer facing role providing transactional support across all aspects of the P&L, including negotiating complex commercial agreements with customers and airframers globally, providing program support, advising on regulatory compliance and communications with customers, airframers, regulators, and program partners. Must have ability to travel to support business needs, including the ability for significant on-site presence in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) and 10+ years of relevant legal experience, including 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm including experience with commercial transactions, M&A, or strong litigation experience resolving commercial disputes
  • Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration in a timely manner following hire
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites
