Position Summary The Associate Director, Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations , will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for developing and executing critical strategies and tactics that ensure optimal positioning, demand generation, utilization, and successful launch of ASP-1929. This role also involves establishing and nurturing a network of investors and partners to support the company’s growth and collaborative efforts. Candidates for this role must demonstrate strong tactical, operational, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills. A results-driven mindset and a sense of urgency are essential. The ideal professional is a disciplined risk-taker who embraces innovative approaches and thrives in an entrepreneurial, rapidly expanding commercial environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least four years of professional investor relations or corporate development experience, including a minimum of three years in pharmaceutical or medical device product marketing.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in sales or a closely related customer-facing role.
  • Strong abilities in planning and organization.
  • Experience with product pre-launch and/or launch activities.
  • Proven capability to build alignment within teams and across functional areas.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards relevant to pharmaceutical products.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing multiple external agencies, including those specializing in market research, advertising, digital, and both external and internal partnerships.
  • Strong project and process management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex and rapidly changing environments.
  • Solid financial and business acumen with an analytical mindset.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% internationally on behalf of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create cohesive, cross-functional plans aimed at increasing global awareness of the company and its platform.
  • Lead discussions and the development of core materials through the internal review and approval process.
  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of a database of investors and potential partners and conduct presentations to engage these stakeholders.
  • Lead deal closing activities, including due diligence, negotiating term sheets, and executing necessary agreements.
  • Support the development of both strategic business and tactical plans.
  • Manage and coordinate internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure the integration and consistency of professional business strategies, as well as regulatory compliance of materials.
  • Operate effectively and make quick, decisive actions in a fast-paced, demanding launch environment.
  • Oversee vendors to ensure effective execution of strategic and business objectives.
