About The Position

Oversee the design and implementation of compliance policies, programs, and controls for Turner’s Enterprise Services business lines including SourceBlue, Self Perform Operations (“SPO”), First Equipment Company and xPL. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and practices, mitigate risk and foster culture of ethical conduct companywide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive compliance experience within the construction industry or related operational environments, including demonstrated experience supporting self‑perform or equipment‑intensive operations.
  • Prior compliance experience in organizations with significant self‑perform operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance risks associated with direct labor, safety, equipment operations, procurement, and third‑party management.
  • Frequent travel is required to perform duties and fulfill expectations of this position
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion with ability to identify problems and initiate corrective action.
  • Employee must be able to travel via multiple modes of transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary compliance partner for Turner’s Enterprise Services business lines with particular focus on Self‑Perform Operations and other non‑traditional GC business models.
  • Develop and administer compliance policies, procedures, and controls that address risks unique to self‑perform and operational entities, including labor practices, safety and regulatory compliance, equipment use, procurement integrity, and third‑party relationships.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise in SPO to translate enterprise level compliance expectations into practical, risk-based guidance for the specificity of these businesses.
  • Provide practical, business-informed compliance guidance as a trusted advisor to Enterprise Services leadership.
  • Continuously identify potential areas of compliance risk and vulnerability; design and implement corrective action plans and monitoring solutions.
  • Monitor ethics and compliance reporting systems, including the ethics helpline, compliance email inboxes, third‑party due diligence platforms, and conflict‑of-interest disclosure systems.
  • Lead compliance investigations, conduct root‑cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive measures for Enterprise Services.
  • Support compliance auditing and monitoring activities, including risk‑based reviews of Enterprise Services operations.
  • Partner with Compliance leadership to implement and enforce Turner’s Code of Conduct and related policies through targeted training, education, and communications.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training tailored to self‑perform and operational roles, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable guidance for field and operational personnel.
  • Promote a culture of ethics, accountability, and compliance across Enterprise Services.
  • Coordinate closely with Legal, Human Resources, Safety, Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other functions to address compliance matters impacting Enterprise Services.
