About The Position

The Associate Director of Compliance at Medscape Education is responsible for ensuring adherence to accreditation criteria while supporting the development of accredited continuing education (CME/CE) content. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain high standards in educational content, contributing to impactful initiatives for healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Clinical degree (PA, MD, RN, NP, APRN, or PharmD).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience developing content in accordance with ACCME, ANCC, ACPE, and/or Joint Accreditation continuing education requirements.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience working as a clinician or in a medical education company.
• Strong background in adult learning principles and curriculum design.
• Skilled in applying PhARMA, AdvaMed, FDA and OIG guidance on use of commercial support in continuing education.
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Basic skill level in Gmail, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work effectively on shared networks/corporate applications.

Nice To Haves

• CHCP credential preferred.
• Experience in online publishing.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop CME/CE/CPD educational content within deadlines and with high quality.
• Collaborate with content development staff to ensure adherence to Joint Accreditation criteria.
• Provide compliance review of all supported activities and materials prior to posting.
• Create CME/CE-certified activities that are self-funded by Medscape.
• Remain current on accreditation criteria and standards.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on department policies and best practices.
• Maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
