About The Position

This position leads the Center’s efforts to engage external audiences, including alumni, donors, universities, and partners. The role ensures consistent and impactful messaging, supports fundraising and alumni engagement, and facilitates ecosystem growth. This position reports to the Director of the L.I.F.E. Center, with a dotted line to the Farmer School of Business Director of Marketing and Communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, digital design, or closely related field.
  • 5 years of experience in business, entrepreneurship, marketing, journalism, digital design, or some combination (as demonstrated by coursework or professional experience).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Experience in scaling strategies in an entrepreneurial setting.
  • Experience in scaling strategies in higher education.
  • Experience in the faith and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Graphic design experience.
  • Experience in developing platforms to expand new programs or events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead external communications and messaging to alumni, donors, partners, and global collaborators.
  • Execute the Center’s marketing and communications strategy.
  • Assist with the translation of research and teaching efforts into public-facing communications.
  • Oversee engagement with Miami alumni, major donors, and international ecosystem partners.
  • Design and manage digital platforms to support collaboration and shared learning.
  • Develop and distribute content, tools, and resources that support the faith and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Other duties as assigned.
