About The Position

The Associate Director, Commercial Learning & Development at Cytokinetics is responsible for creating and leading the training strategy and curriculum for the patient services team and other customer-facing teams. This role focuses on delivering an integrated customer-centric experience through comprehensive training programs that support the launch and ongoing education of commercial field teams. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective training on treatment experiences and patient services responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of industry and commercial experience.
  • At least 2 years in a HQ training role; product launch experience preferred.
  • Prior experience as a sales representative, navigator, and/or field reimbursement role preferred.
  • Background in nursing preferred.
  • Experience in adult learning principles and curriculum development in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent content development, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Commitment to effective collaboration with key company stakeholders including sales, marketing, GVAD, and CE&I leadership.
  • Demonstrated integrity and understanding of relevant rules and regulations within the biopharma industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive pre-launch, launch, and post-launch training curriculum for multiple commercial field teams on the treatment experience.
  • Develop and implement learning paths for multiple commercial field teams including new hire training, advanced training, and ongoing skills training.
  • Partner with the E&I and patient services teams to create and facilitate learning for internal Cytokinetics employees on topics related to patient services responsibilities, HUB, Specialty Pharmacies, Patient Support Programs, and Market Access.
  • Create, deliver, and sustain Ways of Working training for field teams to enable an integrated customer-centric experience.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, legal, and medical on the Promotional Material Review Committee (PMRC) review process.
  • Work with CL&D colleagues to create and facilitate training for GVAD field teams.
  • Develop, organize, and facilitate workshops at National Meetings and POAs.
  • Manage training content in the Learning Management System (LMS) and encourage the use of innovative tools and technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Apply adult learning principles and advanced facilitation skills to develop and execute effective learning programs.
  • Collaborate with and manage agency partners to create and deliver training material.
  • Manage the training budget.
