About The Position

The Associate Director, Clinical Sciences at Kenvue is responsible for leading clinical strategy for new product development (NPD) and clinical programs across all phases of product development. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to evaluate innovation opportunities, represent clinical strategies during health authority interactions, and oversee the planning and reporting of clinical studies. The position requires extensive interaction with global teams and aims to drive compliance and innovation within the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Sciences, Engineering, or Pharmacy is required.
  • Master's or Doctorate (PhD) is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in clinical strategy in OTC.
  • Proven capability to communicate clearly and influence at senior levels of the organization.
  • Experience in partnering with internal/external resources to drive innovation.
  • Demonstrated success in working cross-functionally and in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to develop and implement clinical strategies for Self Care/OTC products.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Clinical lead on cross-functional NPD project teams in assigned Need States.
  • Design clinical development programs in support of NPD and phase 4 claims program regulatory approvals.
  • Represent clinical strategies at health authority interactions and negotiations in support of NPD.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with scientific leaders and clinical consultants.
  • Shape the overall clinical/research strategy and claims substantiation in assigned need states.
  • Provide clinical and claims support to business and competitive intelligence activities.
  • Manage direct reports as appropriate and oversee project progress.
  • Identify, prioritize, and allocate resources to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Improve or develop new business processes to promote innovation.
  • Create forums for sharing insights and exploring new ideas.
  • Drive a culture of compliance with safety procedures.
