About The Position

The Associate Director, Clinical Operations of Hematology and Cellular Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is responsible for organizing, directing, and overseeing daily operations for the clinical and academic aspects of the Hematopoietic Cell Transplant (HCT) program. This role involves managing pre-treatment clinical operations, ensuring data quality and accreditation, onboarding new cell therapy products, overseeing financial workflows, and providing guidance to the nursing and transplant coordination teams. The position plays a crucial role in the planning, growth, and quality improvement of the HCT program.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Science in Nursing or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting required.
• 4 years of experience managing academic clinical departments or service lines required.
• 3 years of supervisory/management experience in a healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct daily operations for the clinical and academic operations of the HCT program.
• Manage pre-treatment clinical operations for patients undergoing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplants and cellular therapy.
• Oversee CIBMTR reporting and ensure data quality and accreditation requirements are met.
• Facilitate FACT accreditation processes.
• Onboard new cell therapy products in collaboration with various departments.
• Manage financial workflows and oversee cell therapy budgets and invoicing.
• Serve as the administrative liaison with Cedars-Sinai Cancer and other departments.
• Oversee the Division of Hematology and Cell Therapy Nurse Practitioner program.
• Provide guidance to Transplant Coordinators.
• Manage care contracts and submissions impacting insurance plans.
• Plan for growth and quality improvement of the HCT program.
