Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) seeks an Associate Director, Clinical Care to join Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). The Associate Director of Clinical Care, CAPS provides input and makes recommendations for the effective and efficient administrative, clinical, consultative, and outreach functions of CAPS. Provide consultation and oversight on sensitive, challenging, and more acute clinical cases, in consultation with the Director. Provide urgent clinical services during regular hours of operation. Attend administrative meetings, participate on relevant committees, and provide input and recommendations to enhance the general operational flow of clinical services. Provide on-call coverage, crisis intervention, psycho-educational programming, community liaison and referrals, data collection, assessment and evaluation, and reports as needed. Serve as the Administrator-in-Charge when the Director and/or the Associate Director of Training is absent or unavailable. Responsible for responding to the mental health needs of RISD students. Under minimal guidance from the Director. Provide a full range of culturally informed clinical and administrative services to support the psychological health of a culturally diverse and creative student body at RISD. Deliver consultation and training to faculty and staff in the RISD community.
