About The Position
Utah Valley University seeks a dynamic, experienced, and team-oriented leader to continue and expand the mission of the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism. With a commitment to UVU's core values of exceptional care, exceptional accountability, and exceptional results, you will be part of a team driven to introduce, inspire, and engage autistic individuals and their families, community partners, students, philanthropists, faculty and staff, with the aim of addressing the needs of the autism community. The Associate Director supports community partnerships of the Melisa Nellesen Center for Autism, including its community education, training programs, and events, both on and off campus. This position serves as liaison with outside community agencies and works to achieve the University and Center goals regarding community engagement through the development and implementation of new programs; and may act as a community expert to public, media, and community partners, including public presentations at local conferences, guest lectures, and training for community entities.
