About The Position

The Associate Director of Business Development will play a crucial role in supporting our Smart Chicken Poultry Business. This position involves evaluating and analyzing internal product performance, recommending new products for commercialization, and facilitating sales and client-relationship management. The Associate Director will also track new markets and emerging trends, propose and develop new strategic partnerships, and write proposals and plans to guide both short-term and long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirements. Key expectations for this role include collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources regarding both internal and external product performance, identifying new business development activities for the Smart Chicken facilities, and coordinating field trials of test products between various departments such as Planning, R&D Operations, Sales, Tech Service, and customers when needed. Additionally, the Associate Director will provide market feedback to company leadership regarding competitive offerings, ensuring that Tyson Foods remains at the forefront of the poultry industry.
