About The Position
Eikon Therapeutics is a pioneering biopharmaceutical company that leverages revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. The Associate Director, Bio-Markers will play a crucial role in driving the discovery and utilization of biomarkers for Eikon's innovative biotechnology solutions. This position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to identify, validate, and interpret biomarkers, ultimately contributing to the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. The role necessitates a minimum of three days a week of onsite presence in either the New York or New Jersey office to ensure effective management, operational excellence, and high-performance delivery of clinical studies, as well as to support significant team growth and collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in biomarker discovery, validation, and interpretation, along with a strong background in molecular biology, genomics, or proteomics. Proficiency in data analysis tools and bioinformatics is essential, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication abilities and a passion for innovative research are critical for success in this dynamic and interdisciplinary biotech environment. The Associate Director will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for the identification and application of biomarkers in alignment with company goals, contributing to the evaluation of potential biomarkers through data analysis and experimentation, and collaborating with clinical, research, and regulatory teams to implement biomarker plans and contribute to clinical protocols.
