About The Position

Publicis Media Exchange (PMX) created an Addressable Media practice, called PMX Lift. This practice combines the scale and expertise of Publicis Media with the data and technology of Publicis-owned Epsilon and strategic media partners to offer cross-channel planning, execution, and measurement. PMX Lift is an omnichannel activation practice that drives smart application of investment through leveraging scale, marketplace innovation, deeper partnerships and intelligence. PMX is at the forefront of the converging marketplace executing data-informed, tech-enabled media to help marketers connect with consumers in a measurable way. To accommodate increased demand from local advertisers, the APEX team responsible for planning and executing PMX Lift Local campaigns is adding to our Investment department. We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Associate Director of Local Investment to join the growing team and help drive all aspects of building and executing PMX Lift Local campaigns across a range of categories. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. On top of invaluable experience in the fast-growing, audience based deterministic landscape, this role will have the chance to work across a variety of client brands and category verticals and the opportunity to collaborate with different teams of experts. ​ Must haves for this role include a working knowledge of addressable media, a deep understanding of the local marketplace and footprint, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a humble and hardworking attitude. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience within an agency or media company, including team management.​
  • Strong understanding of local, traditional, and digital media.​
  • Experience with Advanced TV platforms and technologies and/or programmatic systems (DSP, SSP), ad delivery mechanics, identity, and attribution. ​
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and measure audience-based campaigns, both programmatically and through direct IO.​
  • Experience in managing and mentoring teams, developing talent, and fostering a collaborative team environment.​
  • Ability to move efficiently across multiple campaigns, managing priorities and workflow.​
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills to drive actionable insights and decisions.​
  • Ability to adapt to industry trends and embrace new technologies or methodologies.​
  • Proficiency in process documentation and workflow optimization.​
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for explaining media strategies to clients and stakeholders.​
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to think creatively.​
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.​
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-team collaboration and leading strategic initiatives.​
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, data analysis, and project management tools (e.g., Tableau, Jira).

Responsibilities

  • Keep a pulse on team bandwidth and assign projects appropriately.​
  • Ensure the team is being responsive, accurate, and effective on all communications and providing feedback as needed.​
  • Oversee full account structure within assigned agencies, from intake through measurement, and keeping a close pulse on upcoming opportunities across full client portfolio.​
  • Build and strengthen relationships across investment, strategy, data, activation, measurement, and client teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.​
  • Answer complex questions with comfortability, in subjects like partner capabilities, local markets, audience sizing feasibility, commercial terms, and campaign best practices.​
  • Mentor and manage supervisors and negotiators, fostering professional growth and ensuring high-quality enablement support.​
  • Manage up to Director to keep leadership apprised on team bandwidth and performance, highlight growth opportunities, identify support areas needed, and more.
