The Associate Director, AI & Advanced Analytics for New Products and Business Development will lead our AI transformation journey with a primary focus on designing HCP/account targeting and demand opportunity from pre‑approval through launch. To accomplish this, they will need the ability to influence decision making at senior levels while working collaboratively with teams across the JNJ IM organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience in healthcare, analytics, data science, marketing, management consulting or related field is required.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, master’s highly preferred.
  • Experience with handling budget responsibility of over $2M annually.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills and demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Ability to influence all levels of the global organization and engage across a broad range of business partners and functions.
  • Prior experience integrating and analyzing healthcare claims, electronic health records, lab results, specialty pharmacy, and patient hub data for advanced analytics solutions.
  • Track record of hands-on implementation of AI initiatives within pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning techniques (e.g. supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their real-world applications.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion to learn new things and adaptability to shifting timelines and priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Co‑own launch analytics workstreams with New Business Development to design HCP/account targeting and demand opportunity from pre‑approval through launch.
  • Translate brand needs to dynamic targeting models (e.g., propensity, look‑alike, and micro‑segmentation) that refresh with the latest signals (promo, access, claims/RWD, digital) to drive omni-channel activities across customers.
  • Translate clinical and access milestones into analytics triggers (e.g., access wins, label expansions, etc).
  • Own long range operating expense (OPEX) forecasting across brands to help with long range planning and resource allocations.
  • Lead the ongoing 'use case centric' evaluation of data sets and methodologies to improve predictive capabilities.
  • Determine the impact of solutions & programs through leading and lagging indicators including establishing a measurement framework, and conducting A/B testing.
  • Advocate for change and foster progress in new ways of thinking regarding the role of advanced analytics and AI.
