About The Position

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Associate Director of Close, Consolidation & Control will have responsibility for: managing coordination of the corporate closing process; managing the accounting systems, data and analytics team; and overseeing the Company’s global Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program as PMO lead

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Coordination of Functional Closing Process and Consolidations: Responsible for ensuring the coordination and timely completion of month-end closing and systemic consolidation processes across the Finance organization. Direct systemic accounting support, including coordination and resolution of consolidation issues. Serve as accounting liaison managing external and internal audit activities.
  • Accounting Systems & Reporting Business Owner: Overseeing the Accounting Systems team of three individuals, this role will have primary Business Ownership of select Oracle Accounting Modules (GL, CM, PA) and the DRM system and oversee accounting support for Oracle and Reporting systems (FSR, Business Objects, OBIEE and other accounting-focused reporting systems, etc.). Business Owner over Hyperion Reporting Cubes (Mgmt, Project, Hours, BS); Hyperion “Actuals” Data in Planning Cubes; Oracle Project Costing and Accounting and Allocation processes. Manage access to reporting cubes and direct validation of data between Oracle and Hyperion cubes, including resolutions of any variances. Define future Chart of Accounts requirements and the performance of impact assessments over potential changes.
  • Leader Global Sarbanes Oxley Compliance: Oversee Project Manager for the Company’s global Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 Compliance effort ensuring an efficient and effective 404 compliance program and provide for the timely identification and resolution of identified issues. Develop and maintain policies over processes and internal controls.
  • Process & Accounting Systems Solutions: Drive continuous identification of and driving opportunities for process improvement and training initiatives that promote the efficient and effective use of the core accounting systems, including managing automation and process improvement projects aimed at advancing the use of financial systems and ensuring the consistent systemic flow of information into other reporting modules.
