About The Position

We are seeking an Associate, Digital Strategy to be based in our New York office. This is a hybrid role with at least 4 days/week expected in-person. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to learn and grow with the firm after two years in the Associate role. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker with outstanding problem solving, analytical and writing skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record and less than 24 months of post-university work experience. Knowledge of, or strong interest in, strategic, financial and corporate communications, capital markets, social media, public affairs, and investor relations is preferred.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including excellent proofreading skills
  • Software proficiency and well versed in Microsoft Office, experience with social monitoring platforms is a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

  • This position requires the availability to work outside of normal office hours, including nights and weekends, when business needs arise.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and analyze industry- and company-specific social media research
  • Assist in building, managing, and reporting on performance for digital ad campaigns
  • Think critically to devise recommendations and solutions for clients’ digital queries
  • Communicate in a professional manner with clients
  • Reach out to and coordinate with third party teams on the launch and maintenance of ad campaigns
  • Devise original content and ideas for clients’ social media
  • Operate clients’ social media profiles and break down platform-specific analytics
  • Understand unwritten rules for how to best use various social media platforms and how to apply them to clients’ digital strategy initiatives
  • Recognize and identify noteworthy patterns or changes in social media activity using software
  • Organize ideas into well-displaying presentations and documents to be shared externally with clients and internally within the firm
  • Learn about optimizing search results, the process of launching a website, revising online databases, determining the right audiences for specific key messaging, and more
