In collaboration with our Design team, you'll contribute to the creation of draft layouts, production drawings, and presentation materials. This role involves working closely with clients during schematic design, design development, and prototypical package development, making it a rewarding entry point into the field.

  • Proficiency in managing schedules, meeting tight deadlines, and overseeing budgets while ensuring the highest level of organization in all aspects of project execution.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, fostering productive interactions at all levels of the project.
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant experience, making this an ideal entry-level position for passionate individuals, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer skills, including software such as Revit, BACC, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collaborative efforts on various commercial kitchen projects, gaining exposure to all design phases.
  • Work closely with senior team members to contribute to design concepts and project deliverables.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization of design layouts, utilizing creative input to enhance space utilization and workflow efficiency.
  • Learn to conduct basic capacity and sales studies to inform design decisions.
  • Engage in client interactions to understand their spatial requirements and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the team to translate client visions into actionable design elements.
  • Assist in coordinating the lifecycle of drawings, from order placement to procurement, under the guidance of experienced team members.
  • Learn to document design plans, ensuring clarity and adherence to quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of graphical presentation drawings, showcasing design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the creation of training documentation, gaining exposure to industry standards and best practices.
  • Proactively identify challenges and work alongside experienced team members to find innovative solutions.
  • Embrace a continuous learning curve, leveraging mentorship opportunities to enhance problem-solving skills.
