The Associate Electronics Design Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development and testing of electronics components and systems. This role involves contributing to the creation, evaluation, and improvement of an embedded system from schematic capture to PCB layout, and firmware development while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The Associate Electronics Design Engineer applies technical expertise, solves complex problems, and contributes to the advancement of cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative work environment.

  • Participating in New Product Development (NPD) teams to identify, specify, and integrate electronic components in support of broader platform launches, including requirements analysis and system design.
  • Supporting the design, development, testing and validation of microcontroller-based PCBs, making necessary adjustments to achieve desired performance and functionality.
  • Preparing comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and specifications related to electrical designs, testing outcomes, and projecting progress.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations, electrical codes, and compliance standards in all phases of electrical system development.
  • Contributing to research initiatives, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance or cost optimizations.
  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (required)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, circuit design, and analysis (required)
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools for electrical design, analysis, and simulation (required)
  • Experience with test and measurement equipment and methodologies for electrical systems preferred
  • Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGAs or embedded systems development
  • Experience with C/C++ and Python preferred
