About The Position

The CTC Engineering Division specializes in transforming cutting-edge technologies into real-world solutions. They harness the power of 3D printing, advanced joining techniques like friction stir welding, and cutting-edge design tools to tackle complex challenges for a diverse set of clients. This role involves performing product design and analysis in support of manufacturing process development and R&D initiatives, utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (primarily Creo) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (like ANSYS or ABAQUS) to create, modify, validate, and optimize designs. The Associate Design Engineer will provide hands-on engineering support for prototype development, testing, evaluation, and final implementation, collaborate closely with cross-functional project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors, and develop and maintain precise technical documentation. The position supports a diverse portfolio of projects involving aircraft, vehicles, armaments, advanced materials, and custom manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, materials, industrial or aerospace engineering with a minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software such as Creo, Solidworks, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes, equipment development, and prototyping.
  • Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis Software such as ANSYS or ABAQUS
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support project needs

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in the USG Defense or commercial manufacturing industries is preferred.

Responsibilities
