Associate Dentist (Temp-to-Perm)
About The Position
Wilmington Family Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our team on a part-time, temporary basis (2 days per week). This role is designed to support our practice during an interim period from April through July, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate. What You’ll Do Provide high-quality general dental care, including exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning Perform a range of procedures (restorative, preventive, and basic cosmetic dentistry) Build strong relationships with patients and deliver a comfortable, patient-centered experience Collaborate with a supportive clinical and administrative team What We’re Looking For DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Active state dental license in good standing Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and chairside manner Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Schedule Part-time: 2 days per week Mondays required, with a second day flexible based on the candidate’s availability Temporary: April through July (approximate) Opportunity to grow into a long-term role based on mutual fit and practice needs Why Join Us? Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
- Active state dental license in good standing
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
