About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our fully digital dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will have a strong foundation in various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in both clinical skills and patient management, ensuring a comfortable and effective treatment experience for all our long-standing patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to root canal therapy, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry.
• Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all dental procedures.
• Document patient interactions accurately using Dentrix or similar dental software.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide high-quality patient care.
• Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license and eligibility for malpractice insurance.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience or familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficient in the use of dental software, particularly Dentrix, is a plus.
• Ability to complete expanded services is a plus.
