About The Position

Benevis is seeking 2025 graduates for Associate Dentist positions in the Washington, DC metro area, including Falls Church, VA; Washington, DC; District Heights, MD; and Takoma Park, MD. The role focuses on providing high-quality dental care to underserved families, particularly children, in a supportive and collaborative environment. Requirements

  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the states where care is provided or eligible for licensure.
  • Certifications such as CPR, DEA, and Nitrous Oxide certification (only for specific states).
  • Compassion and a strong desire to provide dental care to both children and adults.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with children in a dental setting.
  • Familiarity with state insurance plans, PPO, and out-of-network payor mix.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dental services to patients with the support of the dental team.
  • Utilize DentaPro software and digital x-ray and Panorex units.
  • Conduct yearly OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management training.
  • Manage an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients per day.
  • Work with a patient base primarily consisting of ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult population.
