As a Delivery Consultant for the Upgrade Center at Cerner, you will serve as a key representative to clients, facilitating communication and collaboration to design and customize their computer systems. Your primary focus will be on supporting clients through system upgrades, changes, and ongoing maintenance. This role requires you to foster strong relationships with clients, demonstrating how technology can enhance their operations by saving lives, reducing errors, and minimizing unnecessary expenditures. You will spend a significant amount of time communicating with clients, ensuring they are well-supported throughout the upgrade process. Your responsibilities will include system testing, troubleshooting, issue management, training, and assisting during go-lives. You will work primarily in a remote capacity, but depending on your assigned team, you may need to travel to client sites, which could involve up to 20% travel. This position is crucial in ensuring that clients are satisfied with their systems and that they are fully utilizing the technology available to them. You will be expected to access client domains, assess their current functionalities, create and execute test scripts, and communicate results effectively. Your role will also involve utilizing troubleshooting steps to resolve any issues that arise during the process. In addition to technical skills, you will need to adhere to corporate and organizational security policies, understanding your role in safeguarding both corporate and client assets. You will be expected to take appropriate actions to prevent and report any security compromises within the scope of your position. This role may also require you to work additional or irregular hours as needed, in compliance with local regulations.
