Job Summary: Assumes managerial responsibility for the development, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum for the School of Nursing under the direction of the Dean. Chairs the Academic Affairs committee. Guides and mentors faculty in academic matters; demonstrates professionalism and self-development appropriate to education, research and practice. Formulates and updates school policies. Manages disciplinary matters for students, staff and faculty, making recommendation when appropriate to the Dean. Directs the Course Coordinators with item writing and item analysis for each cohort during the academic year. Responsible for updating the student handbook, faculty manual and academic calendar. Completes clinical evaluations for all faculty.
