Provide strategic leadership, direction, and supervision to the Aviation Maintenance and UAS programs at Northland Community and Technical College (NCTC), Aerospace location. Supervises and implements grant activities and special projects. This position seeks out private and public interest and investments in assigned programs for evolving academic programs and participates in the negotiation of memorandums of agreements, contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and teaming agreements with regard to proprietary/confidential information related to public-private partnerships. Funding: primary funding for this position is from grants, contracts, and donations. Develop and oversee Aviation Maintenance and UAS curriculum, curriculum innovation and schedule efficiencies in collaboration with academic deans. Provide effective leadership for the Aerospace Site. Collaborates with custom training services to fulfill CE/WDS education needs; secures contracts from business and industry, State and Federal agencies, specifically the National Science Foundation and national professional agencies. Mentor, assist, evaluate, and effectively work with faculty and staff to develop the maximum possible creativity and performance in their positions. Assist, encourage, develop, and recognize prospective students, students, and alumni for Northland Community and Technical College. Administers activities within assigned areas.
