About The Position
Rutgers University - Newark (RUN), is an urban public research anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Director for the Academic Foundations Center (AFC) and the Educational Opportunity Fund Program (EOF) which will report to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Strategic Partnerships. The Associate Dean is responsible for the undergraduate academic support initiatives and programs of the AFC. The undergraduate programs of the AFC collectively serve over 1,000 low-income, first generation, and underrepresented students. The Associate Dean/Director has primary administrative, financial, and supervisory oversight for the AFC and EOF Program. This would include overall operations as well as setting policy and strategic direction for the department.
