About The Position
The Associate Dean of Admissions reports to the Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and oversees and administers all admissions programs for the Brody School of Medicine. This will be an At Will, 12 month position. The Admissions Office at Brody School of Medicine (BSOM) is responsible for overseeing and administering the admissions program for the School of Medicine while recruiting capable medical students, who will ultimately become physicians that will meet the needs of people in North Carolina and beyond, which is vital to fulfill the school's mission. In meeting this responsibility, the School of Medicine seeks competent, well-prepared students from all backgrounds, who have a clear commitment to medicine. Consistent with our mission, special effort is made recruit students committed to serving rural and under served communities of North Carolina.
