Integrated Data Foundation (IDF) Data Enablement Team: As an Associate Data Engineer supporting the IDF Data Enablement Team, you’ll support People and Finance data delivery, helping Southwest advance its journey to becoming a truly data-driven organization. This role focuses on data analysis and business delivery, turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that support enterprise initiatives and decision making. You’ll work with modern tools including AWS, GitLab, Oracle, Essbase, and emerging AI capabilities while operating in a SAFe Agile environment across multiple pods. You’ll apply strategic thinking, collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and continuously grow your skills in a supportive, learning focused environment shaping the future of enterprise analytics. Additional Details This Dallas-based role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require onsite presence/travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in an approved remote location within the Dallas-Fort Worth area. If an applicant currently resides outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, they may relocate to the area and be considered for the program. Relocation Assistance is not offered for this role.
