Our Associate Data Engineer will help optimize the performance of our growing fleet of more than 350+ wind turbines and solar inverters. Using your technical knowledge and analytical skills, you will transform millions of data points into actionable insights to inform tactical and strategic operating decisions. The goal of this analysis is to ensure that every kilowatt of energy that the turbines and solar assets could produce is being produced. With access to our SCADA systems, you will use existing code and develop new code to identify outliers in the operating data, which you will flag and monitor. You will develop dashboards, summary reports, and other tools so that our Asset Management team can leverage these insights to make better decisions. Our Associate Data Engineer is responsible for putting data to work for Scout's fleet of operating projects. You will collect and analyze downtime, time series, and operating data in order to identify approaches to optimize fleet operations. You will share analysis of deviations from optimal performance with our field staff to identify the root cause, select appropriate solutions, and develop a timeline to resolve the issue.
