As a Associate Data Analyst at Apex Fintech Solutions, you will play a role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure Apex’s data solutions are robust, efficient, and effectively support decision-making processes.   • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that transform large volumes of raw data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize and improve the performance of existing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and workflows.
  • Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency by applying validation and cleansing techniques.
  • Implement best-practices for data governance, security, and privacy, adhering to industry standards.
  • Create and maintain extensive documentation for data processes, pipelines, and architecture.
  • Partner with data scientists to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
  • Leverage cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to build and deploy data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance and data quality issues within the data systems, resolving performance issues or bottlenecks.
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to ensure Apex remains competitive in a rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • 1+ year of work experience applying solutions with programming languages preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services like BigQuery, S3, Redshift, or Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and database optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the fintech industry and knowledge of financial systems or trading platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in working with APIs and integrating third-party data sources preferred
