Internet Brands is looking for an Associate Data Analyst to join our El Segundo based data analytics team. The Associate Data Analyst's primary role is to provide data and analysis support for tracking and reporting for the health vertical (WebMD/Medscape This position requires an ability to understand the key metrics of a business and to develop reporting based on business requirements. The analyst will work in a project team-oriented and dynamic environment which will require working closely with other teams and adjusting to new developments as they arise. Various software packages and tools will be utilized in order to collect, mine, and report on this data. Strong analytical and communication skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines is critical for this position.

  • Create insightful, easy to understand visualizations that provide performance, trending and benchmarking analysis to meet business needs.
  • Simplify and automate reporting, audits, and other data-driven activities; build solutions to have maximum scale and self-service ability by partners.
  • Support the business with time-critical data analyses.
  • Performing analysis of web traffic, email engagement, and app engagement data to understand and measure the success of programs, including click through analysis, retention, re-engagement and A/B testing.
  • Become a subject matter data (and business) expert related to appointed areas of responsibility.
  • Understand and recommend how AI can assist in improving the assigned task.
  • Degree in Statistics or Business or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • 1-2 years of equivalent work experience
  • Experience accessing data from data bases.
  • Proficient with creating, maintaining, and optimizing data visualizations dashboards
  • Proficient in using SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skill
  • Knowledge and experience with AI systems and capabilities.
