Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 0 - 2 years of prior relevant experience, or minimum of 4 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Top Secret/SCI-eligible clearance is required.
• DOD 8570.01M IAT 2 certification, e.g., Security+.
• 4-6 years of experience with Windows Server (2019 or later).
• 2-4 years of experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) Administration or Engineering.
• Experience in VM life-cycle management (snapshots).
• System configuration experience with Enterprise Identity Management tools (LDAP, IPA, Active Directory, etc.).
• Experience implementing Windows and RHEL patches, scanning, remediating findings, auditing.

Nice To Haves

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level 3 certification (e.g. CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH).
• Experience with MILSATCOM systems, e.g., WSOMSNet and Common Network Planning Software (CNPS) software.
• Working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
• Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers.
• Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work and grow in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Establish and maintain up-to-date cybersecurity configurations based on DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Configure, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot VMWare and/or other virtualization technologies.
• Support efforts to field changes and patches to production systems to a schedule.
• Address and detect issues that impact projects and implement/develop courses of action (COAs) to mitigate or alleviate the impact to projects.
• Support critical operations during standard and occasional non-standard working hours.
• Work with lead engineers to ensure engineering designs are sound and fit overall architectural concepts.
• Implement/maintain strong system architectures to include physical and virtual environments.
• Ensure project schedules are being met and identify any constraints/concerns.
• Support/facilitate customer meetings and ensure compliance with project requirements & overall architectural design.
