About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Associate Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Chandler, AZ. The position involves reviewing customer purchase orders to assess requirements, processing and maintaining customer purchase orders, and interacting with various positions in the warehouse as well as with other functions such as Sales and Quality to ensure that orders are resolved in an acceptable time frame. The role requires prioritizing orders with issues based on required ship date and performing analysis on whether orders can proceed without additional input. Additionally, the specialist will perform research in Cardex (ERP) to potentially resolve order issues, monitor and expedite orders with high complexity and urgency, and resolve customer claims with functional departments. Other responsibilities include maintaining pipeline health on part usage/demand and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in Program Management and/or Customer Support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Proficient knowledge in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in Business or High School Diploma.
  • Experience in aerospace hardware sales.
  • Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in numeric reasoning and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews customer purchase orders to assess requirements.
  • Processes and maintains customer purchase orders (e.g., order entry, etc.) inputting in Cardex (ERP) and portal management.
  • Interacts with different positions in the warehouse and other functions such as Sales and Quality.
  • Prioritizes orders with issues based on required ship date.
  • Performs analysis on whether orders can proceed without additional input.
  • Conducts research in Cardex (ERP) to resolve order issues.
  • Reviews and actions open orders pending resolution.
  • Ensures timeliness of shipment for critical orders through internal coordination.
  • Monitors and expedites orders with high complexity and urgency.
  • Resolves customer claims with functional departments.
  • Maintains pipeline health on part usage/demand in collaboration with Customer, Sales, Planner, etc.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
