This Associate Customer Sales Manager position perfectly embodies that ambition, as you will own & be responsible for the planning and execution of categories worth more than $100M of revenue with Target. You will be a vital member of the Customer Business Team (CBT), engaging in selling activities & driving efforts tied to improving our financial & market share profile. The Associate CSM aims to deliver revenue and share objectives, pursue business strategies to of growth, provide category management expertise, and ensure that coordinated cross-functional sales value is delivered to the customer through implementation of the sales plan and shelving objectives.

Requirements

  • Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; Has the ability & experience using multiple large data sets to develop comprehensive business analyses and recommendations
  • Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills, supported by expertise in Microsoft Excel
  • Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation/Powerpoint) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously and experience prioritizing and performing in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in CPG or retail merchandising
  • Experience with sales forecasting and analysis
  • Experience with trade planning, revenue management, or managing a PnL
  • Experience with Category Insights and Management

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes raw and syndicated data leading to key insights and business recommendations on the key sales metrics of distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion.
  • Ensures data accuracy in the total Customer P&L is accurately delivered for fact-based decision-making.
  • Develops selling priorities and provides relevant reports, tracking, and analysis.
  • Collaborates across total customer business team to monitor and track forecasts and reporting tools to complete annual business plan.
  • Works back with customer and internal partners to drive sales growth
  • Supports customer business teams in the internal Kraft Heinz identification of category / customer business opportunities and provides recommendations into the development of plans and initiatives.
  • Develops clear and concise presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to customer business teams and internal partners.
