Interested in joining us on our journey? GE Appliances is looking for an Associate Customer Fulfillment Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for business to business (B2B) support by taking inbound calls, processing orders, providing order status and price information, and supporting special ordering processes. This posting is for a Work from Home position, with 4 weeks of in-office training.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attendance record.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to manage multiple web-based applications at one time.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude, strong telephone, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Must maintain a suitable work from home environment, free from noise/distractions.
  • Flexibility with work schedule. Due to multiple shift draws per year, candidates must be available to work all shifts M-F between the hours of 8am – 6:30pm EST as needed.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection with at least 30mb download speed and 5mb upload - cable or fiber (NO dial-up, satellite, T-Mobile 5G home internet, or cellular hotspots).
  • Smartphone with Android OS or iPhone for user authentication (you will not be taking calls on your personal cell phone).

Nice To Haves

  • At least one-year prior experience in a phone-based customer service role.
  • Previous work from home experience.
  • Knowledge of GE Appliances’ models and features a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming phone calls for order placement.
  • Provide customer information on product availability, delivery, billing, and finance processes.
  • Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that customers feel supported and valued.
  • Researches and provides information to our business-to-business customers.
  • Engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information and addressing customer concerns.
  • Use multiple system platforms for tracking, information gathering and customer response.
  • Provide information on product features and specifications.
  • Manage special ordering processes with unique order entry procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
