About The Position

To support the Credentialing (CDL) office by assisting with insurance payor credentialing, applications, and business development goals. This position is an entry level position and will offer training to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care

Requirements

  • Four (4) year college degree.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant healthcare/administrative experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Goal oriented. Self-directed and detail oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Competence in basic PC skills required to perform job functions.
  • Acceptable pre-employment assessment results.
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
  • Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
  • Complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
  • Maintain insurance payer spreadsheets as required for credentialing.
  • Send notification to payers regarding new office openings and changes of office information.
  • Monitor payer online databases for accuracy of service office information; submit additions, deletions, changes, and corrections as appropriate.
  • Maintain companywide information related to service offices including current address, phone/fax numbers, licensure, accreditation, government provider numbers, zip codes, counties serviced, services provided, etc.
  • Maintain credentialing contact databases.
  • Maintain the integrity of all credentialing files.
  • Maintain and cultivate positive, long term relationships with service/support offices and external customers.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.
