About The Position

The Associate Creative Director (ACD), Copy, at tms is a pivotal role that combines leadership and creativity to drive innovative marketing solutions for a diverse range of clients. This position involves leading a team of creative professionals, including Copywriters, Art Directors, and Designers, to produce compelling and engaging content that resonates with consumers. The ACD will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic campaigns, ensuring that all creative output aligns with client objectives while pushing the boundaries of traditional marketing.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of creative copywriting experience in an agency or brand space.
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and sell creative vision.
  • Ability to write clear, succinct, and persuasive copy, adaptable to different tones of voice.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing recent projects that demonstrate creative thinking and flawless execution.
  • Experience in developing TV and/or online video scripts, with knowledge of production processes.
  • Critical attention to detail in copy and content creation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple client projects and demands.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the ideation and execution of various client programs and brand promotions.
  • Interpret and interrogate briefs to create strategically driven and compelling work.
  • Present fresh perspectives and big ideas to clients and larger groups confidently.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of clients' businesses, brands, consumers, and competitive landscapes.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the copywriting and creative talent within the team.
  • Oversee the development of brand guidelines that define the verbal tone and copy direction across various channels.
  • Supervise and craft engaging digital experiences, coaching internal teams and clients on best practices.
  • Ensure a consistent writing approach for the copy discipline and content creators.
