The Associate Creative Director (Art) at Boundless Life Sciences Group is responsible for mentoring and supervising art directors while creating exceptional work for clients in the healthcare sector. This role emphasizes maintaining high creative standards, developing client relationships, and refining creative outputs to achieve excellence. The ACD/Art evaluates all aspects of creative work, ensuring that concepts are pushed to their highest potential and effectively communicates with both agency and client teams.

  • Leads by example by originating creative ideas, adhering to creative briefs, and collaborating closely with both internal teammates and clients
  • Mentors junior staff, providing direction and coaching to grow junior and midlevel art directors and designers
  • Develops compelling designs and layouts, applying consistent style across brand materials with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Supervises photo shoots, illustration development, freelance designers and art directors
  • Ensures smooth internal workflows by utilizing effective delegation and counsel as needed
  • Acts as a client liaison by presenting various stages of work to the client and effectively responding to client requests or inquiries in a timely manner
  • Works with a senior Copy partner to manage the creative workflows of larger initiatives such as brand launches or new business pitches
  • 8-10 years of art direction experience in a creative agency with a minimum of 3 years in a supervising role
  • Minimum of 3 years in a specialized healthcare/pharmaceutical agency
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic or Visual Design, Communication Design, Creative Advertising, or related field
  • Portfolio of work that demonstrates both design skill and conceptual creativity
  • Understanding of and ability to work with scientific concepts and data
  • Expert skills in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Familiarity with digital design principles and best practices
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver efficiently in a fast-paced environment
