Bringing Home the Dough Provide legal advice and counsel to internal clients and represent such clients in legal disputes. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location and around the company.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 to 4 years’ experience in the practice of law.

Responsibilities

  • Review contracts in support of the enterprise.
  • EEOC charge investigation and position statement preparation in connection with bakery management and outside counsel.
  • Manage portfolio of trademark enforcement actions in connection with outside legal counsel.
  • Monitor significant customer bankruptcies and coordinate with outside counsel on legal strategy.
  • Monitor and assist outside counsel in class action recovery efforts.
  • Assist in-house attorneys to provide support on general corporate matters including compliance, litigation, employment, franchise law, advertising/marketing/branding, intellectual property, real estate, M&A, and other areas of corporate law practice.
  • Assist with the management of litigation and claims, including employment and commercial disputes, and discovery/e-discovery activities associated with each.
  • Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
