About The Position

Join Amazon's Legal Department as an Associate Corporate Counsel supporting AWS's transformative work in cloud infrastructure and sustainability. As an Associate Corporate Counsel supporting AWS's energy and water initiatives, you'll navigate complex legal landscapes while helping shape the future of sustainable infrastructure. Your day might include drafting and negotiating utility agreements, reviewing contracts for renewable energy projects, or advising on regulatory compliance for innovative carbon-free energy pilots. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, project managers, and business leaders to identify legal risks and opportunities. Beyond routine legal work, you'll contribute to strategic initiatives that advance our sustainability goals, working on matters that span multiple jurisdictions and require creative problem-solving. We are a collaborative legal team dedicated to supporting AWS's mission to lead the cloud computing industry while advancing our sustainability goals. Our team works closely with utilities, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to facilitate partnerships that drive innovation in the energy field.
