Under direct supervision from the Manager of Support Services, the Prep Cook provides assistance and support to the Cook in quality food preparation, management of supplies and tray line activities. Responsible for preparing cold foods and entrees and assisting as needed with hot food preparation. Assists with rotation of foods in the freezer and refrigerators and in other responsibilities as required. Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
