The Associate Controls Engineer is an entry-level professional role intended for recent graduates in engineering with 0-2 years of experience, individuals actively pursuing an accredited engineering degree who have completed relevant coursework and demonstrated applicable technical skills, or candidates who bring substantial industry experience in engineering, plant operations, or technical services, even if they have not yet completed a formal degree. This position will work under close supervision and receive detailed instruction on required tasks and expected results. The Associate Controls Engineer will perform a variety of routine engineering tasks to gain experience and familiarity with OPC's engineering practices, plant systems, and technical services programs. This role provides a foundation for professional growth within OPC's engineering organization and contributes to plant operations, projects, and compliance activities in a supportive capacity. All associated activities will be scheduled and controlled using a Computer Maintenance Management System.
