About The Position

The Associate Content Specialist will coordinate content and communication activities for the IEEE Conferences, Events & Experiences (CEE) Team. This role focuses on developing and delivering engaging content for various audiences, including conference organizers and participants, while managing project calendars and content workflows. The Specialist will act as a point of contact for multiple initiatives and oversee the review and approval processes for content, ensuring effective communication across platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, English, or related field.
• 2-4 years of related work experience in digital communications, with proven expertise in content coordination and delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with digital communications systems and proficiency in website content management systems.
• Basic proficiency with photo and video editing software.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and desktop productivity software.

• Experience in evaluating success of digital communications.
• Ability to work with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating content and communications for the CEE Customer Experience and related projects.
• Maintaining multiple project calendars for CEE activities and supporting the team in achieving timelines and deliverables.
• Overseeing the curation, review, editing, and approval process of CEE content, ensuring editorial sign off on all content.
• Scheduling and publishing content to CEE's community, website, and online presence.
• Reviewing, publishing, and updating content and communications across multiple platforms and analyzing effectiveness.
• Assembling a digital asset library for multiple organizational uses in coordination with manager and under the direction of CEE Sr. leadership.
• Handling special projects as assigned by Manager or Sr. Director.
