We value the rich diversity that comes from blending local perspective with our global network. Lazard is seeking an Associate to join the Consumer, Retail & Leisure team in New York. In this group, Associates work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging food & beverage, home and personal care, and retail/e-commerce companies. The Consumer and Retail group is based in the New York office and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for consumer and retail companies across the U.S and globally.

Requirements

• A minimum of two years relevant work experience, preferably in the Consumer, Retail & Leisure investment banking space
• Strong analytical skills with training in the building of presentation materials and financial modelling
• Proven academic excellence with excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• Team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both to deal teams and external clients
• Strong ability to multi-task
• High level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial and performance information
• Run financial models and conduct analysis
• Perform company and industry research
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Interact with senior bankers and clients
