About The Position

As an Associate for Strategic Insights, you will execute quantitative analysis to drive actionable insights. Your insights should identify performance gaps and hypotheses for root cause, leading to specific action plans to capitalize on opportunities. In this role, you’ll work closely with executive leaders and internal stakeholders across the organization to complete complex ad-hoc analyses under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate can juggle multiple, time-sensitive analyses, effectively communicate expectations to internal and external stakeholders and streamline analytics processes/reporting where possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year professional experience.
  • Prior experience in a quantitative field, through internships or other consultative work, and/or demonstrated ability to perform independent quantitative analyses of a moderate to highly complex nature accepted in lieu of full experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, data science, engineering, or economics
  • Proficient in Microsoft products – Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI
  • Intermediate level in SQL for reading and manipulating data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as needed
  • Clear, concise, and effective communicator
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as critical thinking and conceptual thinking abilities
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data science, or related field
  • Master's/MBA degree; Strong academic credentials.
  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with Access or enterprise database programs a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with stakeholders to determine analytical needs
  • Identify, manipulate, and extract data for analysis using SQL
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify key drivers and actionable insights
  • Embed quality checks to ensure numerical accuracy and logical consistency
  • Consult with subject matter experts to deepen understanding of findings
  • Develop executive-ready presentations to communicate insights
  • Recommend program improvements based on analytical findings
  • Automate repetitive tasks to improve team efficiency
