A day in the life. We are looking for an energetic, positive person to join the Marsh & McLennan Agency – Northeast Retirement Services Team. Reporting to a Managing Consultant of the Retirement Services Operations team, this position will support a group of retirement consultants with the servicing of their Retirement Services clients. In this position, the individual will gain a strong foundation of all aspects of the retirement business equipping them to grow within the practice and Marsh & McLennan Agency. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, work in a client-facing capacity, able to take projects from start to finish, motivated to succeed and adaptable to change; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where the client is the focus and delivering outstanding service is the priority. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Requirements

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to express ideas clearly, both in written and oral communication
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 and 65 or 7 and 66 licensures encouraged. Licenses will be a requirement for future advancement.
  • Respond efficiently to requests from internal and external contacts via phone & email communications
  • Comfortable presenting in group environment, both in person and virtually
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage projects amidst competing deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint) with strength in analyzing and synthesizing data.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
  • Knowledge of Zoom, Webinar, and video conferencing skills
  • College degree preferred
  • Three to five years of retirement related work experience preferred. Record keeping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the review and preparation of materials for all client meetings
  • Attend client meetings, and assist with the capturing of tasks and deliverables
  • Participate and often lead client project calls.
  • Accurately summarize the topics discussed to ensure the consultant and/or producer are aware of what was discussed during the call, identifying deliverables and due dates
  • Coordination of plan investment changes
  • Creation and updating of client executive summaries
  • Assistance with preparing and delivery of client RFP, fee and plan design benchmarking materials
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports
  • Interact effectively with service providers and other external contacts
  • Coordinate the gathering and reviewing of all new client agreements and documents
  • Participate and from time-to-time lead client implementations calls
  • Assist Provider and Investment Committees with the maintenance of committee documentation
